Troo is a little kid from the late 1950s/early 1960s, and doesn't really have much of a filter on her as far as political correctness goes. She's been canonically known to use offensive and/or dated language for all sorts of racial/ethnic/sexuality/etc. groups, and has grown up with the normalization of some pretty bad things: a large number of the people in her neighborhood are racist and homophobic, her mother encourages her and her sister to play a "Name Game" and make assumptions about people based on what countries their last names sound like they come from ("Polish people's names end in -ski and they have small brains!") etc.; IT'S KIND OF AWFUL. Some of her offensiveness is purposeful-- she frequently uses slurs when she's angry at someone and knows their background-- but a lot of it's just ignorance and the way she grew up. I am 100% okay with characters calling her out on this and attempting to correct her behavior (whether or not they succeed really depends on their relationship with her and what she thinks of them, though)! However, if you as a player are uncomfortable with any of this, please let me know and I'll make sure it never comes up around your character(s), for any reason. If you haven't told me anything either way, I'll ping you OOCly before I even think about having her bust out with something questionable.

THAT ALL SAID: to keep things organized, it'd be awesome if you could take the time to fill this out (it's quick, I promise):

<b>OOC Name:</b> Whatever you go by in the game; because apping and dropping happens, I find asking this easier than having people list their characters. <b>Are there any potentially offensive topics that you don't want broached ICly?</b> Feel free to just do a blanket "I don't want any offensive things brought up ICly"; otherwise, please let me know specifics-- is there a particular type of ignorance/disrespect that you don't want to deal with, even if you're fine with everything else? Do you only have a problem with it if it's clearly done in malice? And so on. Again, if nothing is put here or I find something unclear, I'll default to asking you OOCly before I even consider having her bust out the "SOOOO YOU SURE ARE A FLAMING HOMO HUH" crap. My character might not always care if she offends people, but I absolutely do.
